Wedding for some people is the most beautiful and important moment of their life. Therefore, the wedding ceremony and reception have to be special so it will become a memorable day not only for the new husband and wife, but also everyone who attended the ceremony. There are many factors that can make the wedding memorable such as decoration, entertainment, and more importantly the wedding favors.

Wedding favors are souvenirs given to the guests as a token of appreciation and gratitude. The souvenir is usually given by the groom and bride during a wedding ceremony or wedding reception. It’s already became a tradition for a long time. The first wedding favors in Europe were known as a bonbonniere. It’s a small trinket box made of porcelain or precious stones like crystal. Generally, these boxes usually contents sugar cubes, which was an expensive commodity that only affordable for the wealthy ones of that era. These sugar cubes symbolize wealth and royalty. But now there are many wedding favors selections and they actually doesn’t have to be useful or symbolize anything. Wedding favors sometimes just a key chain or decorative porcelain. I once attended my friend’s wedding reception and the wedding favors were yellow roses. And guess what? Every time I hear people talk about wedding favors, the yellow roses of my friend’s wedding is the first thing comes up in my mind. That’s the main idea a wedding favor. To give the guests something they can bring back home and they can remember your wedding when they look at it.

Every part of your wedding has to be memorable. And to make the wedding memorable, it doesn’t have to be expensive, but it has to be different.
